'Dragon Age: Inquisition' Free to Play on PC

Bioware, the developer of the action role-playing video game "Dragon Age: Inquisition," recently shared good news, especially for RPG gamers who have not yet played their game. The game is now free to play on PC, specifically the first six hours of the game.

According to an IGN report, the first six hours is "enough" to "get out of the Hinterlands." Along with this news, Bioware is also offering "unlimited free multiplayer" for the game's online mode. That means PC gamers can play the game with their friends for free. Even the multiplayer expansion packs that were earlier released as DLC for the game are included in the free multiplayer offer. These include "Jaws of Hakkon" and "Dragonslayer."

Gameplay is very much like its predecessors – players need to choose what role their character will play – human, dwarf, elf or Qunari. They explore vast open worlds, meet different characters that they must form into a party and with this group they must complete missions and defeat enemies, while they go through the game.

A Tech Times report said that this was a great idea to market the game and eventually get more people to buy it. The game was originally released in November 2014, for various platforms such as PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. It is said be a big seller for Electronic Arts and Bioware.

The game is also gained critical reception after its release and was named Game of the Year by some gaming publications. The game is a sequel to "Dragon Age: Origins" and "Dragon Age II," and as such is part of the "Dragon Age" franchise. The current game is considered to be the best game in the series.

The game is highly recommended for gamers who are into the RPG genre, and is somehow compared to other RPG games like "The Witcher." So the free to play offer is something that RPG gamers should be taking advantage of.
