Since Android 21 has not been introduced in any manga or anime installation before, very little is known about her background and her powers.

However, according to Siliconera, one promising trait of Android 21 is she has the same level of intelligence as Dr. Gero, also known as Android 20. Unlike Android 21, Dr. Gero has appeared in manga on several occasions before.

Fans of the "Dragon Ball" franchise know that Dr. Gero is genius enough to create the Red Ribbon Army. However, this was later defeated by Goku, which led the scientist to deeply hate the main protagonist.

Meanwhile, based on the promo images shared by Shonen Games, Android 21 sported long, wavy red hair, wore glasses and a dual-colored panel dress.

Aside from the all-new character, the photos from Bandai also confirmed that "Dragon Ball FighterZ's" roster of playable characters will include two more names that have already been introduced in the manga and anime series before.

The game will also include the young man and protagonist named Yamcha. Players and fans of "Dragon Ball" will recall that he was once a bandit in the desert who became Goku's reliable ally. Then, there is also Tien Shinhan – the devoted martial artist familiar for his bald head, muscular build and third eye.

"Dragon Ball FighterZ" is slated to be released in 2018.
