'Dragon Ball FighterZ' News: Learning More About Android 21, A New Character With a Connection to Android 16

Android 21 is an original character made for 'Dragon Ball FighterZ'

Some new characters were confirmed just recently for "Dragon Ball FighterZ," with one of them being Android 21.

Fans can be forgiven if the name Android 21 does not ring a bell for them, as this particular character was one that was specially made for the upcoming fighting game.

Android 21 was officially announced in a recent issue of V-Jump, and the folks over at Shonengamez.com provided translations of the details that have been shared about her thus far.

Apparently, Android 21 is an incredibly intelligent individual, one with a mind comparable to that of the diabolical Dr. Gero. It is unclear how involved the doctor was in her creation, however, though it appears that she has a connection to his earlier Androids.

Most notably, it looks like Android 21 has a close bond with Android 16. The former may even have had a hand in bringing back to life the previously destroyed Android 16.

Android 16 was not originally depicted as a hostile character but it is expected that he will feature a different kind of personality in the upcoming game, one more adversarial to Goku and the other Saiyans. Perhaps Android 21 has a role in why that will be the case.

Similar to other Androids, Android 21 also looks a lot like a human. Her long brown hair grows out in different directions and she also wears glasses.

Unfortunately, not much else is known about this newest member of "Dragon Ball FighterZ's" roster. Developers have opted to leave the fans guessing by describing Android 21 as a "mysterious" individual, though it certainly seems like there is more to her that is worth knowing.

Android 21 could even end up being one of the main antagonists that the heroes will have to deal with in the game.

More news about Android 21 and about "Dragon Ball FighterZ" should be made available in the near future.
