Apparently, the Gohan and Majin Buu characters were updated recently. To be more specific, the way their names were shown onscreen have changed.

According to a recent article from EventHubs, the additional characters found next to Gohan's name translate to "young version."

It would be odd that the developers had to clarify that this version of Gohan was the young one if there was no another variant of this character included in "Dragon Ball FighterZ." It is possible that developers may choose to add the so-called "Ultimate" version of Gohan, or if they want to add a little whimsy to the roster, then perhaps they could go with his Great Saiyaman persona.

Developers have a wider range of options to choose from if they really were going to add another version of Majin Buu to the fighting game.

EventHubs speculated that the characters next to Majin Buu's name identify this variant as the larger type, the one alternatively known as the "Innocent" version.

Other versions of Majin Buu that may be added to the game include the slimmer, more evil variant, or they could go with the version of this character known to many as "Kid Buu." Developers could also select the "Super" version of Buu or the other variants of this being that have absorbed different characters.

However, even if the developers were indeed planning to add more versions of Gohan and Majin Buu, it is not guaranteed that they will be available on launch day since they could also be introduced as characters included in the "FighterZ Pass."

More news about "Dragon Ball FighterZ's" roster" should be made available soon.
