'Dragon Ball Super' Episode 81: Goku Finally Takes the Stage

The next episode of "Dragon Ball Super" will finally see Son Goku take the stage to defend his home in the Universe Survival arc.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 81 will see the Saiyan in a "limit-breaking ultimate battle," as he described it in the promo, with the strongest warrior of Universe 9, Bergamo the Crusher.

There is a reason that Goku's opponent is called that way, but despite Bergamo's intimidating size and strength, the hero makes the most of the brawl, as per usual.

Goku even had a nasty grin as Bergamo charges violently into him in the "Dragon Ball Super" episode 81 promo. It looks like Goku has something up his sleeve.

The synopsis for "Dragon Ball Super" episode 81 provided by Weekly Shonen Jump and picked up by Comicbook.com reads:

"The Omni-Present Match comes to a head! Does Goku have a shot at victory?! The final battle of the Omni-Present Match is Goku vs Bergamo! Bergamo uses some slick talking to get the stadium on Universe 4's side, turning them completely against Goku and the gang! What's more, Bergamo shows off his ability to turn his opponent's attacks into his own power! How will Goku fight this tricky foe? Crusher Bergamo shows his stuff!!"

From the looks of it, Goku will not be the only one with tricks to show off in the arena come "Dragon Ball Super" episode 81. Bergamo will have a lot too as he showcases his killer combination.

It turns out that Bergamo is quite the charlatan. Add to that his ability to absorb the power of his opponent's attacks, he sure lives up to his reputation as the most feared fighter from Universe 9.

Goku and Bergamo's match will wrap up the exhibition trials held by the Omni-King. More universes will brawl it out in the episodes to come and that is where the stakes reach an all-new high.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 81 airs Sunday, March 5 on Fuji TV.
