'Dragon Ball Super' episode 9 recap and episode 10 spoilers: Goku faces Beerus

Goku, who appeared much leaner and glowing in red, has finally changed into a Super Saiyan God form, in the last "Dragon Ball Super" episode titled "Sorry About the Wait, Beerus."

This hit anime's episode explained how to transform into a Super Saiyan God. Beerus was the only one who knows how to transform to a Super Saiyan God, and the Z fighters were seen asking Shenron for advice. Shenron then told the fighters that it basically needs six Saiyans to attain the power of a Super Saiyan God.

Vegeta, Trunks, Gohan, and Goten all held hands, in order to give their power to Goku, hoping that their power will be enough for Goku to become the most powerful Super Saiyan God. However, the Saiyan men failed since there are just five of them. Luckily, Videl came in and announces that she is pregnant with unborn Pan, who will complete the six Saiyans needed to transform Goku.

Although the group is now successful in changing Goku in the Super Saiyan God form, the battle will not happen until next week's episode, which is titled "Show Me Saiyan Goku!" Yibada has posted a clip of the upcoming episode where the two fighters were seen pouncing and punching each other in the sky.

The anime has a lot of followers and reviews since it aired, but fans are also expressing their disappointment with the show's animation, according to a report from iSchool Guide. Fans said that the new Dragon Ball looks "rough" and "stiff," which is completely opposite to its title Dragon Ball Super. Many said that it doesn't do "super" a justice, and fans are expecting more. According to Kotaku, the variations between the old and the new Dragon Ball can be attributed to time and budget constraints, and with the animators themselves.

Dragon Ball Super airs every Sunday on Fuji Television.
