'Dragon Ball Super' News & Updates: Episode 60 Details Revealed; Trunks Traveling to the Future; Vegeta to Power Up?
The 60th episode of "Dragon Ball Super" is still a week ahead, but spoilers for the show have been all around the web for a while now. Here's what we know so far.
Back to the Future
With a less than subtle homage to the hit 1980s film franchise, "Dragon Ball Super" will see Trunks using his time machine to travel to the future. This is after we have learned that Beerus, a god of destruction with tremendous power who defeated Zamasu, may later change the future. Along with Trunks, Bulma also sneaks in to the time machine to hitch a ride with her son to the future.
The reason behind this is that Bulma could be wanting to help the resistance through bring food and medical assistance while Vegeta, Son Goku, and Trunks are fighting. However, Son Goku still believes that Beerus was right about the fact that future Zamasu and Black Goku should not exist.
Bulma, Black Goku, and the Future
Vegeta may also be thinking the same, seeing as he allowed his wife to travel with his son to the future. However, Trunks is the only one left believing that Zamasu and Black Goku are no longer existing in the future. With Bulma's appearance to the future, she surely would be surprising the resistance, especially Yajirobe and Mai. This is because when they met her in the future timeline, they know she should have been dead.
The future episodes will let the fans see the true identity of Black Goku. However, according to Son Goku in the preview for the episode 60 of "Dragon Ball Super," Black Goku isn't a mere copy of himself. Son Goku states that Black Goku is something else entirely. Fans could then expect Zamasu to unleash his full potential. Also, Trunks appears to gain a new super power, which we are still unsure of.
Vegeta Power Up
As for Vegeta, his character may see a huge step up. Vegeta will be seen fueled by the death of his future wife Bulma in the hands of Black Goku and being beaten by his opponent during the fight. "Dragon Ball Super" will see Vegeta transform into a higher power ranking than that of Son Goku.
From his current state, he will be seen turning into a Super Saiyan Rose, or a Super Saiyan White. This would enable him to take on his most powerful transformation as of yet. The chapter 60 of "Dragon Ball Super" is slated to air on October 2.
