'Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2' DLC 6 Release Date: Original Character to Be Added, Goku Ultra Instinct Coming Too?

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is getting a new downloadable content (DLC) pack.

Per Saiyan Island, Bandai Namco Entertainment has announced that the DLC Pack 6, as it is officially referred to, will add four new playable characters to the game including an "original new character."

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 6 will also include a new story mode scenario and an all-new form of Goku, which is speculated to be the Ultra Instinct version that was recently featured in the hit anime "Dragon Ball Super."

This is believed to be an unprecedented power-up for the hero, one that fans have not seen in the history of the long-running franchise. With this form, Goku's body takes over even though he is out cold and even unlocks an unthinkable amount of power.

After all, Tournament of Power, the subject of the ongoing Universe Survival Arc in "Dragon Ball Super" in which warriors from all universes are brought together for the ultimate showdown for the fate of their worlds, is already an inspiration of the DLC Pack 5. The addition of Goku's Ultra Instinct is only a speculation though as nothing has been confirmed yet.

It is unclear if this new form of Goku is counted in the four characters included in the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" DLC Pack 6 though. More information should be revealed in the weeks to come as the expansion is expected to be released sometime next year.

As they wait for the details, fans can first focus on the release of the DLC Pack 5, which will add Dabura, Gohan Absorbed Buu, Android 13 and Tapion to the roster.

The "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" expansion will also offer new costumes for Toppo of Universe 11 and Ribrianne of Universe 2 and will add the Hero Coliseum Mode, which fans can see in action in the video below.
