Drake and Rihanna Break Up: Clears Up Speculation About Calling Rihanna The Devil

Drake has cleared up speculation about him showcasing ex-girlfriend and singer Rihanna's picture along with the number 666, which is often associated with the Devil.

Drake, 27, and Rihanna, 26, dated earlier this year before breaking up for unknown reasons. While a number of fans and blogs have accused Drake of writing his song "Days In The East" about her, he fueled the speculation even further with a recent performance of the song at OVOfest on Monday.

While performing his song, a red tinted image of Rihanna appeared on a screen in-between three flashes of the number six, a symbol that the Bible labels a mark of "the beast." After a number of fans took to social media to accuse the rapper of calling the Barbadian singer the devil, Drake refused to admit that labeling Rihanna as such was his intention.

"My album title is 'VIEWS FROM THE 6.' The 6 is Toronto," Drake tweeted. "Rih is a great girl who I know is about to kill this tour with Eminem. It's all love!!"

While Drake has Jewish roots, Rihanna has been vocal about her Christian faith. Last week, she seemed to take inspiration straight from the Bible with a story about Jesus healing blind men posted on her Twitter feed.

"When he entered the house, the blind men came to him, and Jesus said to them, 'Do you believe that I am able to do this?' They said to him, 'Yes, Lord,'" Rihanna's header from Mark 9:28 reads.

Although the singer has raised eyebrows and sparked conversation with her public nudity and controversial behavior, she has not shied away from sharing her Christian faith in the past. The singer previously appeared in "Glamour U.K." and spoke about how making God her priority has helped her regain her fearless attitude after being questioned about how she stopped fearing fame.

"Remembering what's important in life and understanding that we are individuals with our own relationship to God," Rihanna told the magazine. "When that's clear, it's difficult to be bothered by what people think."
