Drake Talks Amanda Bynes Offensive Tweets: 'It's Weird, Disturbing'
Drake recently weighed in on Amanda Bynes following a series of bizarre tweets that she has posted about the rapper.
The "Take Care" emcee, 26, has been subject to several offensive and at times admiring tweets which have been posted by Bynes, 27, on social networking site Twitter in recent months. He has remained silent on the matter until now. The troubled actress often altered between attacking Drake to complementing the rapper and her erratic tweets have raised concerns about her mental well being.
"I don't even know who that is doing that or what that's about. If that is her, I guess it's a little weird and disturbing," Drake told XXL magazine.
"It's obviously a behavioral pattern that is way bigger than me," continued the rapper. "Whoever is behind it, whether it's her or somebody else, they know people are paying attention so they keep it going."
In March, Bynes shocked her 3 million Twitter followers when she posted her first ever sexually explicit tweet about Drake.
"I want @drake to murder my ------," Bynes tweeted March 21.
In June the former Nickelodeon star randomly lashed out at the rapper by tweeting personal attacks about his appearance.
"Drake has the ugliest smile, ugly gums uneven teeth ugly eyes," Bynes tweeted June 6.
"I won't deny calling @Drake ugly," another bizarre tweet read.
The "Started From The Bottom" rapper is not the only celebrity who has been publicly criticized by Bynes on Twitter. The troubled star also previously called singer Rihanna and rapper Jay-Z among others "ugly."
After displaying a series of troubling behavior in recent months, including lighting an elderly woman's driveway on fire, Bynes was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold on July 22 and admitted to the Hillmont Psychiatric Center in Ventura County, where she is currently undergoing mental health evaluations.
"(There have been) no real changes in the situation yet. Meds take more than a week," a source told the New York Daily News about Bynes' condition.
Bynes' 72-hour psychiatric hold was reportedly extended after her concerned parents, Lynn and Rick, requested a two-week extension to ensure the actress' safety and well being.
