Droid Razr Maxx Release Set for Tomorrow, New Ad Promotes Battery Life

Motorola will officially launch the Droid Razr Maxx smartphone tomorrow on Verizon and the company recently released an ad on device promoting its 3300 mAh battery.

This device is expected to last longer than most Android smartphones on the market giving it the advantage in terms of power.

The new ad features customers complaining about their current handsets and how their batteries are constantly running out of juice. “So this phone lasts longer than any other phone,” says one of the people in the ad regarding the Droid Razr Maxx.

Others comment on its size and how it still maintains a sleek and thin design despite the addition of the new battery. It comparison to the original Droid Razr, this device is slightly thicker.

It is described by the Motorola as having “the longest battery life of any 4G smartphone and more than two times the battery life of leading competitors. Incredibly thin, made KEVLAR strong and ready for Ice Cream Sandwich. Powerful dual-core processor, 4G LTE speeds and a Super AMOLED display.”

The release date for the Motorola Droid Razr Maxx smartphone was announced be on Jan. 26, according to an announcement made on the official Motorola website last week.

The company recently announced the addition of the new smartphone to its lineup at this year’s CES along with the debut of the Droid 4.

The Droid Razr Maxx is the follow-up to the high-end Droid Razr smartphone that was released last year on Verizon and will take its place as the new flagship device for the carrier.

Motorola added that the Droid 4 will be available in the coming weeks. The Droid Razr Maxx battery will provide users with over 21 hours of use per charge. It will be available on Verizon for $299.99 with a two-year contract starting tomorrow.
