Duck Dynasty Star Condemns 'Ripping Babies Out of Womb'

The patriarch of the Duck Dynasty family is creating a national stir after a 2010 video surfaced of him delivering a sermon at a Pennsylvania church condemning the debate over "whether it's right or wrong to rip you out of your mother's womb."

"You have a God-given right to live inside your mother," Phil Robertson told hundreds of guests at a wild game dinner hosted by Berean Bible Church in Pottstown, Penn. "To debate whether it's right or wrong to rip you out of your mother's womb? What in the world has happened to us?"

Robertson, one of the stars of the hit reality show Duck Dynasty, is a devout, pro-life Christian. The show is hailed by viewers for its focus on faith and family.

He delivered the 2010 message with a Bible in one hand and duck calls in the other – giving attendees a brief history of the religious liberty in America.

He pointed out that George Washington, Thomas Jefferson and Andrew Jackson were followers of God.

"President Number Three said we hold these truths to be self evident – that all men are created equal," Robertson said. "He's a Genesis man.

Thank God for those kind of men, he told the audience.

"These are God-given rights, Pennsylvania that no one can take away from you," he said, pointing out that life is one of those God-given rights.
"I'll tell you it doesn't take 150 years – we start ripping babies out of wombs," Robertson said. "They should've listened to Thomas Jefferson.
You have a God-given right to live, for crying out loud."

He blasted the abortion movement and those who oppose allowing unborn babies to live.

"We debate whether some woman has the right to tear you out of there a piece at a time?" he asked. "Come on!"
