Sadie Robertson of "Duck Dynasty" has opened up about more than just her dance routines since joining season 19 of "Dancing with the Stars" this year.

The A&E reality television star made her debut on "DWTS" on Sept. 15 and revealed coping mechanisms for nervousness and the pressure to perform on the dance floor.

"Honestly, I prayed all day," the 17-year-old model explained, according to ABC. "All day I had friends and Scripture's encouragement that helped so much to calm me down. And really I just found my own confidence in myself. I'm not dancing for the 15 million people watching but just doing it for me, and [I] hope they like it."

Meanwhile, Robertson has been very vocal about her faith, especially in light of joining "DWTS." Ahead of her arrival in Los Angeles where the television series is taped, the teen tweeted that "God comes with me no matter where I go."

Furthermore, directly before taking to the ballroom for the first time on live television, Robertson shared a passage from the Bible with her Twitter followers.

"a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, Ecclesiastes 3:4 (NIV) ITS DANCE TIME," Robertson posted on Sept. 15.

Today, Robertson is also relying on her friends and family while competing for the "DWTS" championship trophy. The model's famous family members, including her grandfather Phil Robertson as well as her parents Korie and Willie Robertson, are showing their support by visiting the studio and attending the competition.

"It's everything, it means so much to me that I have my family, my boyfriend and my friends here," Robertson said during Week 1 on "DWTS."

The teenager and her "DWTS" partner Ballas are known as #TeamQuackAttack and have already garnered a strong fan following. "DWTS" airs on ABC Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 p.m. EST.
