'Duck Dynasty's' Jessica Robertson Makes Sure 'Groceries Are Bought, Husband Is Taken Care Of'
Jessica Robertson, wife of Jep Robertson from the hit A&E reality show "Duck Dynasty," recently said that two of her responsibilities during a typical day are taking care of her husband and purchasing groceries.
Robertson relayed her average day as a Robertson woman in a recent phone interview, saying she usually wakes up, cooks breakfast for her four kids and husband, and sends the children off to school. If it's a day when she and the rest of the Robertson family are not filming for their reality show, she'll also go grocery shopping and "make sure her husband's taken care of."
Robertson also said in the interview that while many of the Robertson men are away hunting or building duck calls, it's the Robertson women who "hold down the fort at home."

"While the men are playing we're holding down the fort, is what we're doing," Jessica told WMC-FM Memphis, "Today's Best Mix!" in a Wednesday interview. "Most mornings I cook breakfast and get everybody ready for school … I take them to school every day. Unless I'm filming, which is maybe twice a week," adding that she's also "making sure groceries are bought, [and] the husband's taken care of."
Jep's wife went on to say that she and her husband keep their marriage fresh by spending lots of time together, eating lunch together regularly. "Jep and I eat lunch together at least three times a week. We spend a lot of time together. I think that is really important to really value your marriage and hopefully your spouse is one of your best friend … I'm really blessed he's an easy going Robertson man."
Robertson went on to add the little-known fact about her husband that he is a fantastic cook who often enjoys preparing dinner for his wife and kids, although Jessica says she will most often do the clean-up and the cleaning around the house.
Jessica Robertson will be starting a new fashion line in collaboration with her husband. The well-known "Duck Dynasty" star will also be a special guest at the Southern Women's Show in Memphis this Friday, discussing her life as a Robertson woman on the event's Fashion and Entertainment stage at the city's Agricenter.
The Southern Women's Show said in a press release that Robertson will be "sharing stories about life in Louisiana and the importance of family, and answering all those Duck Dynasty questions."
Robertson is one of the starring wives on the hit A&E reality show "Duck Dynasty," alongside Korie, wife of Willie, Miss Kay, wife of Phil, and Missy, Jase's wife. The show airs every Wednesday night at 10 p.m. (EST) on the A&E network.
