Despite the obvious distance between Jana and Williams on the dining table, the fans assumed that he was spending time with the family because he has the intention to marry the oldest female Duggar child. According to one of the fans, the duo may have possibly seated apart on purpose because the family wants to keep mum about the rumoured courtship until they feel ready to announce their relationship to the public.

However, some fans commented on Williams' looks. Some claimed that his attire "sloppy" since the hem of his underwear was showing. Since a number of fans posted harsh comments about his appearance, Williams defended himself through a post, saying that he has no idea during that time that his "unmentionables" were seen in the picture.

"In the future I will probably triple check to verify the integrity of my outer garments before any such pictures are snapped and shared," he stated in his comment on Facebook. "My apologies to anyone that suffered from nightmares or any other egregious symptoms due to the excessive skin and dyed cotton exposure."

The family has yet to confirm the reports about Jana's rumoured courtship, but fans of the show are eager to see the twin of John-David Duggar finally tie the knot soon after four of her younger sisters started their own families in the previous years.
