Dump Trump Billboard: Petition Targeting Macy's, Donald Trump Grows
A mobile Dump Trump billboard is circling the Macy's corporate headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio and another is in its New York City flagship store in Herald Square, in a push to see the company cut ties with Donald Trump.
The Dump Trump billboards, which surfaced just in time for Christmas, read "Bring back the old Macy's. Dump Trump." They are each signed by signon.org, an affiliate of the left leaning political organization moveon.org which launched the petition in November shortly after President Obama's reelection victory.
The Dump Trump petition, which has has so far gained nearly 680,000 signatures, has accused Trump of making "sexist" and "racially charged" statements about President Obama in a bid to push his own right wing political agenda. Organizers are urging Macy's, which carry's Trump's clothing line, to adhere to its own social responsibility policy.

"There is a gap between what Macy's brand is and what Donald Trump's brand is," protest organizer Angelo Carusone told The Hollywood Reporter.
"Macy's says they are a cut above the rest. They appeal to everyone's nostalgia. They inject themselves into our culture and our holidays," Carusone went on adding. "We don't think [Trump] represents the values they espouse."
In November Trump, who had endorsed former Republican nominee Mitt went on a tirade after President Obama was reelected by blasting the President's win as a "sham."
"We should march on Washington and stop this travesty... Lets fight like hell and stop this great and disgusting injustice! The world is laughing at us. This election is a total sham and a travesty," Trump wrote in a series of tweets.
Prior to the election saga, Trump had openly questioned President Obama's national citizenship and demanded that he release his birth records. The controversial "Celebrity Apprentice" producer was recently accused of blackmail after offering to donate $5 million to charity if President Obama released his college records to the public.
