'DWTS: All Stars' Results - Who Went Home? (SPOILERS)
Last night was the first elimination for the latest season of "Dancing With the Stars: All Stars," and Pamela Anderson turned in her dancing shoes.
After coming in last place during the previous night's performance, Anderson and partner Tristan MacManus knew they were in danger of being cut. They joined fellow competitors Bristol Palin and Drew Lachey in the bottom ranks and anxiously awaited news from Tom Bergeron.
When the time came, Anderson and MacManus were cut from the show, which Anderson told cameras she was "kind of" expecting.
"I was ready for it for sure, but we'll keep dancing … It doesn't end here," she said before her exit.
Anderson joined former castmates Kirstie Alley, Emmitt Smith, Bristol Plain, Joey Fatone, Helio Castroneves, Melissa Rycroft, Shawn Jonson, Kelly Monaco, Drew Lachey, Apolo Anton Ohno and Gilles Marini for this latest All-Star season.
Adding to the drama this season is the fact that fans will be able to vote for one other contestant to join the show. They will be able to choose from Kyle Massey, Sabrina Bryan or Carson Kressley, and either of these three will add serious drama to the already famous line-up.
Executive Producer Conrad Green told the Huffington Post he wanted to add "heritage" to this particular season.
"We wanted to be able to pick the best of the best and make something that celebrates the range of the dancing and the humor of the show," he said.
"Dancing With the Stars" debuted in 2005 and has since gathered a huge following and is easily one of the most popular reality competitions on TV. Some of the contestants, however, have not found their own fan base while on the show. The majority of "DWTS" watchers have not expressed sadness at the loss of Anderson.
"It was not sad at all," posted Us Weekly user Blue Sky. "It would have been sad if they stayed. She looked and acted like a train wreck both nights."
"DWTS" airs on ABC.
