'DWTS' Finale Tonight: Who Will Win Closest Competition Ever?
"Dancing with the Stars" has reached the end of the competition as three remaining cast members await results on Tuesday.
Stars Donald Driver, Katherine Jenkins, and William Levy anxiously anticipate America's votes which will select the mirrorball trophy winner.
While it was one of the least controversial seasons yet, "DWTS" season 14 cast members provided the most competitive season ever.
Over 16.5 million people watched Monday's episode. Part one of the season finale also saw stiff competition between the remaining stars and their professional dance partners.
Levy and his partner Cheryl Burke were the first to hit the dance floor Monday, and delivered a cha cha which earned them a perfect score of 30 from the judges' table.
Then, classical singer Jenkins performed a paso doble with partner Mark Ballas. The British singer received a standing ovation and "DWTS" judge said Jenkins looked like "a prima ballerina." Ultimately, Jenkins and Ballas also earned a perfect score of 30.
Lastly, Driver and his pro dancing partner Peta Murgatroyd performed the Argentine tango. The pair fell short with just 29 points.
The 2-hour finale then saw freestyle performances from the remaining contestants. During the freestyle performances, the contestants have one more chance to double their scored and impress the judges as well as the audience.
Levy and Burke delivered a high-energy performance during the freestyle, but earned 29 from the judges' table, leaving them with a total of 59 points for the night.
Jenkins and Ballas coveted another perfect score, bringing their overall night's score to 60.
Driver and Murgatroyd wowed the judges with a dance routine performed to both country music and hip hop, earning the pair a perfect score of 30. Their overall score was 59 for the night.
Week one of "DWTS" started with 12 celebrities and their partners, but tonight, only one will be named season 14's winner.
The "DWTS" finale airs on ABC Tuesday at 9 p.m. EST.
