'Dying Light' Patch 1.05: New DLC Features to Be Released
"Dying Light" players are beginning to get a hold of Patch 1.05 updates and for those who have already installed the patch, reports are saying that the new patch gives players a sneak preview of what's coming in upcoming DLC packs for the game.
According to a report in Design & Trend, one player shared a short video clip he was able to view after installing the Patch 1.05 update. The video shows Techland's Paul Milewski saying his thanks for the "immense support" to the game.
While he is telling fans that the game's developers are always listening to feedback from fans, the video then switches to actual gameplay scenes. Some of the scenes however become unfamiliar when the player is shown handling a crossbow and driving a dune buggy through an unfamiliar mountainous region. The report hinted that this may be a preview of what fans can expect in the next set of DLC packs.
Those who are playing the game are aware that the game's map of the City of Harran includes the Uzun Mountains. Players are also aware that there seems to be no way to get there as of the moment. The report suggests that the leaked video may be indicating this part of the map as a possible playable area in the near future with the use of vehicles such as the dune buggy.
As for the crossbow, the report says that it may be part of the next set of weapons in coming DLC packs. Aside from the video, the latest patch also introduces a hard mode and "a host of gameplay improvements."
