'Dying Light: The Following' Release Date Revealed For Feb. 9, 2016
"Dying Light: The Following" is going to arrive to store shelves very soon. According to IGN, developer Techland announced over the weekend at the PlayStation Experience that the release date of the major world expansion has been set already. It will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on Feb. 9, 2016 in North America and Europe through retail and digital stores.
OnlySP reported that Techland teased fans with around 12 minutes of gameplay from "Dying Light: The Following." Through the video, fans were able to have a first look of the new details about the fully customizable buggies located in the expansion. A glimpse of the new weapons, enemies and the massive open world itself was also revealed already.
Aside from the release date, the Polish video game developer also publicized that a new Enhanced Edition will be coming alongside and it will be released on the same day. Eurogamer noted that the upcoming edition will be a bundle of the game and all downloadable content. The only difference is that it will contain exciting additions.
The source listed the updates that will come to the game and included are new enemy attacks and behaviors, new parkour moves, bounties system, enhanced facial expression, new NPC models, audio upgrades, gameplay quality improvements and console performance upgrades.
There will also be a nightmare difficulty setting, legend system, bounties system, improved human enemy AI, improved volatile AI, greater firearm variety, HUD and video filter customizations, #DrinkForDLC Content and overall game look and improvements.
There's a lot to look forward to with the video game and as noted in the game's official website, it said: "Dying Light is now bigger, better and scarier than ever before. Enjoy the ultimate zombie experience as you scavenge for supplies, craft weapons, and do anything you can to survive in a city ravaged by the zombie virus."
