Dylan Farrow Graces TIME 100 Gala and Reveals Disappointment for Celebrities Working with Woody Allen
TIME's 100 Gala was chock-full of celebrities and prominent figures so it was only reasonable that Dylan Farrow attended the event with her mother, Mia, but she didn't just grace the event for partying but she also made some notable announcements.
According to People, a very pregnant Dylan revealed that she is four months pregnant and it's a girl. While she couldn't reveal the girl's name that she already picked, she is expecting to deliver the baby safely this fall.
"I picked a name, but my husband would kill me if I told you. He wants it to be a secret," Dylan explained. Wearing a strapless floor-length, gray gown, Dylan looked ecstatic and ready to see her first child in a few months.
Mia, on the other hand, is also prepping for the arrival of her granddaughter. She already has 9 other grandkids and she said she is really looking forward to seeing Dylan's bundle of joy. "I have nine grandchildren, but I'm excited about this one," the TIME's 100 Most Influential People alum.
Despite the good vibes during the party, Dylan had to relive some of her childhood's painful memories as she also talked about the revelation she made two years ago regarding Woody Allen.
She told the New York Daily News that she is furious that a good number of Hollywood stars are still working with her former adoptive father despite her revelation that the famous director molested her as a child.
"It makes my blood boil quite honestly. Every time I see a new celebrity agreeing to work with him, I feel like my message didn't get across and I failed and it's very hard to not succumb to that," she told the outlet.
Talking about the letter she published through the New York Times in February 2014, Dylan said she didn't expect so much attention back then as she spent most of her time after the incidents hiding away from the public.
In her open letter, Dylan accused Allen of sexually abusing her multiple times but the film personality has denied all the allegations. While Allen was never prosecuted for Dylan's claims, he had another adoptive daughter with Mia, Soon-Yi Previn in 1997.
