Earthquake Today in Iran: 6.3 Quake Hits Near Iran's Nuclear Power Station (VIDEO)
An earthquake has hit Iran, close to the country's only nuclear power station, killing at least 30 people, according to reports on Tuesday morning.
The quake is said to have been a 6.3 magnitude tremor, and struck in the south-west of the country, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The earthquake's epicenter was measured 55 miles (89 km) from Bushehr, the USGS has reported.

Following the quake, dozens of people took to social media sites claiming to have felt the quake across the Gulf in Dubai and Abu Dhabi regions.
The incident has sparked concerns about Iran's controversial nuclear program, and it is not sure the extent of any damage to the plant, although Iranian personnel at the plant have claimed no apparent damage has been seen.
Iran's nuclear program has been widely condemned in the international community, and most fear the country is attempting to build nuclear weapons. Tehran meanwhile has always insisted that its nuclear program at Bushehr and other sites, is simply for civilian purposes.
Today's 6.3 magnitude earthquake in Iran struck at 7.52 a.m. ET and according to the USGS hit at a depth of about 6.2 miles (10 km).
It was also reported that Iran's seismological center in the Bushehr province registered a 6.1 magnitude quake close to the town of Kaki, some 60 miles south of Bushehr.
