Ed Young's C3 Conference to Feature Steve Furtick, Lee Strobel, Others
2012 Event Seeks to Arm Church Leaders in Connecting Gospel to Modern World
Megachurch pastor Ed Young will be hosting the fast-approaching C3 Conference on Feb. 15 at his Fellowship Church in Grapevine, Texas. The conference will feature prominent Christian leaders speaking on the importance of creative inspiration in church culture.
The term "C3" stands for Creative Church Culture, and seeks to inspire those in attendance on how they can better connect the Scriptures to the modern world.
The official website describes the conference as an "experience that combines inspirational messages, incredible worship and insightful teachings that will amp up your creativity and passion."

A large portion of the conference's audience will be thousands of church leaders seeking creative ways to implement God's message in their congregations. The conference is meant to evoke God-given inspiration in all parts of one's life, whether it is through business or church leadership.
The event will take place at the Fellowship Church's Grapevine Campus. Senior pastor of Fellowship Church and host of the conference, Ed Young, will be speaking along with many other prominent Christian leaders, including Pastor Judah Smith of the City Church in Seattle, Wash., Pastor Carl Lentz of New York's Hillsong Church, renowned author Lee Strobel, and Pastor Steve Kelly of the Wave Church in Virginia Beach.
"Nobody does it like Pastor Ed and Lisa Young. Nobody in the world. This is a first class conference," Steven Furtick, founder and pastor of Elevation Church in Charlotte, N.C., said in a promotional video featured on the C3 Conference website.
Former world champion track and field athlete Marion Jones will also be speaking at the conference. Jones won five medals at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, but was forced to forfeit her prizes after admitting to using performance enhancing drugs in competition.
The three-day event, running from Feb. 15-17, will also feature live music performances by DJ's and Christian rock bands.
The conference will also feature "C3 Nights," when the conference opens its doors to the public for worship and teaching.
The Fellowship Church has its main campus in Grapevine, and also operates three satellite campuses in the greater Dallas/Fort Worth area and one campus in Miami, Fla.
