Eddie Long's 5th Accuser Lashes Out Against Minister on Twitter
The young man recently revealed as the fifth person to accuse Eddie Long of sexual misconduct took to Twitter this week and lashed out at the Georgia preacher.
It was reported in late July that Centino Kemp, 22, received settlement money from a lawsuit filed against Long by four other men.
Although Kemp was not named as a plaintiff in the lawsuit, his allegations against the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church pastor reportedly led to his involvement in settlement negotiations.
Kemp, who has Long's name tattooed on his right arm, lashed out at Long in a string of expletive-laden Twitter posts from his @CentinoKemp account this week, asking the minister: "why thats all i want to no (sic)."
Kemp's message, dated Aug. 30 on the social networking website, was directed to "@BishopEddieLong," the official Twitter account for Long listed on New Birth's website.
Placing "@" before a Twitter username allows the message or comment to appear in that account holder's Twitter feed or timeline, in this case the account belonging to Long. It is presumed Kemp's message did likewise.
There was no indication that Long, or whoever may moderate the minister's Twitter account, responded to Kemp's tweet.
Kemp's rants appear to have started on Monday, Aug. 29, when he typed: "Some Nights are hard to sleep cant stop thinking about the past pain..."
The following day, Kemp tweeted: "I am sick of living a lie and hideing (sic) my pain in a fake [...] smile and your walking around like its ok..."
Kemp's other tweets range from anger and sadness to confusion and hope of one day being commended by God.
An Atlanta television news station spoke with Kemp in July after having learned that the young man had accused Long of sexual misconduct along with four other young men, all former members of New Birth.
At the time, according to the report, Kemp was reluctant to discuss the lawsuit and his allegations against New Birth's leader.
Kemp's Twitter rant, however, apparently shows he is now more than willing to talk.
Long, who spoke out this week on the case, was accused of spending church funds on gifts and trips for the men, all in their late teens at the time, while having sexual relations with them.
In a statement published on the church's website Monday, Long said he wanted to move on from the allegations without distractions in the work God has been doing through New Birth.
