Eden Wood Modeling Controversy: Toddlers & Tiaras Star in New Show
One of the stars on TLC’s show “Toddlers & Tiaras” has now landed a new and even more controversial television role.
Wet Paint Entertainment has reported that Eden Wood has recently signed a contract for her own show with Logo Network. Although few details have been released, the site reports that filming could start as early as January 2012.
Logo TV, a cable channel owned by Viacom, has also produced such shows as “RuPaul’s Drag Race” and is geared towards a LGBT audience.
The reality show is supposed to focus on Wood’s planned move to New York City. The six-year-old star visited New York in November with her mother and it is reported that the two also checked out apartments on their visit. Eden told Wet Paint Entertainment, “I love New York City because it’s always open.”
Much controversy has surrounded the show since its first airing in 2009. In March of 2010 a parent on the show received death threats after dragging her unwilling daughter off stage because she did not want her hair done.
In January of 2011 another controversy surrounded a mother who forced her daughter to wax her eyebrows despite the girl’s pleas against it.
