'Elder Scrolls 6' Release Date and Rumors: Next Installment Could Come with Online Mode
Following the release of "Fallout 4," fans are speculating that Bethesda may just as well give fans what they have long been asking for: "Elder Scrolls 6."
The game has become one of the biggest anticipations in the history of gaming after the previous installments immediately became chart-toppers worldwide. However, Bethesda seems to close its ears to the requests for a "Skyrim 2" announcement.
With the massive success of the previous games under the "Elder Scrolls" franchise, it shouldn't be so much of a big deal to ask for Bethesda to release the second part of the latest installment.
Movie Pilot suggests that if Bethesda decides to make the game a reality, it might be a good idea for an online version. This is after fans realized that "The Elder Scrolls Online" has had a lot to do with social interactions and the creation of new friendships. While an online expansion for the rumored game could add to the pressure already felt by players not using the online platform, it suits well for players who want to play with teams.
On the other hand, there are some gamers who play best alone and wouldn't want to have someone suddenly popping out of the screen trying to mess with the gameplay.
Meanwhile, fans continue to speculate that with "Fallout 4" out and about, the developer may seriously be thinking of "Skyrim" part two this time after it has been rumored to release for the past months.
The fifth game in the franchise released on November 2011 and followed up on "Oblivion." While there is no word from Bethesda about the sixth installment, many fans suggest that it may be a follow-up of "Skyrim" since there are still so many things that players need to know that aren't really tackled or explained in "Scrolls V."
"The Elder Scrolls 6" has not been announced just yet, and gaming experts suggest it might not release any time this year or in 2016.
