FiveThirtyEight
The election polling website FiveThirtyEight took an average of national polls regarding Biden and Trump, with the former once again polling stronger than the latter.
In numbers posted Monday morning, the website found that Biden was leading with 52.5% to Trump’s 41.8%, or a difference of 10.7 percentage points.
This represents the largest lead that Biden has ever had over Trump in the FiveThirtyEight polling, which began in March; at that time, Biden had a lead of 3.8 percentage points.
According to the site, Biden began to lead Trump by double digits earlier this month, following the first presidential debate and news of Trump testing positive for COVID-19.
In polling accessed four weeks earlier, FiveThirtyEight had Biden at 50.4% and Trump at 43.6%, or a difference of 6.8 percentage points.
