'Elementary' Season 4 News, Cast, Spoilers: Sherlock Will Be Having Tough Times

New York Comic-Con 2015 gave a lot of shows a chance to reveal upcoming teasers, and one of the series that took the opportunity is "Elementary," which will be entering its fourth season.

According to Entertainment Weekly, it is said that Sherlock will be going through a lot of hard times. Many viewers were witness to how Jonny Lee Miller, who plays Sherlock, gave in to the pressure surrounding his life. He ended up getting drunk in the season finale and physically assaulted a person, and if Miller's words are to be a basis, it will more likely occur again as Sherlock is probably headed for a relapse. Miller explained then, "A problem like that doesn't ever go away in someone's life. Drug addiction is something that can be handled … but the problem itself isn't ever going to go away. It's a storyline you can always go back to … It's not a huge nemesis that is dealt with and then done with."

Of course, Sherlock's current disposition at the start of the season will not only be a burden for him but for his partner as well, Joan Watson. Lucy Liu, who plays Watson, shared that despite this huge setback, her relationship with Sherlock will continue to develop "on a much deeper manner." She shared, "I think the main thing is to billboard the fact that their relationship has developed outside the sober companionship."

Furthermore, one of the people bringing more tension, if possible, would be Morland Holmes, Sherlock's father and played by John Noble. He will be entering the new season and bringing an incredible amount of tension. It seems that the story will also focus on the strained relationship the father and son have, which go way back. Noble talked about the struggles of their characters, stating, "It's not so uncommon that a genius child is eccentric, you know?" He also says that his appearance will be harder on Sherlock than on him, "It's interesting just having [Sherlock] be annoyed and flustered. I think he's expecting more reaction to his disdain for his father … but it doesn't go anywhere for him, Morland never really takes the bait, so he's pretty frustrated."

Season 4 of "Elementary" returns on CBS on Nov. 5.
