Chinese smartphone manufacturer Elephone officially launched their flagship smartphone dubbed as Vowney. According to Beta News, the tech company was long rumored to release a device that will have the capability of carrying Windows 10 Mobile and Android 5.0. Fast forward to today, the handset has now come to life and will be on sale beginning Sept. 30 for a price of only $299.99.

Its highlight, of course, is that it's a dual-boot smartphone that can run both Windows 10 Mobile and Android 5.0 Lollipop. But International Business Times reported that there will be two variants of the flagship smartphone. One will be powered by quad-core Intel processor and can dual-boot while the other one will be powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6795 SoC and will run on Android OS.
As for its specifications, both versions are equipped with a 5.5-inch QHD IPS LCD display. It has a screen resolution of 1440x2560 pixels and comes with a pixel density of 535ppi. It will have 3GB of RAM and a built-in storage of 64GB. Expandable storage is supported through microSD card of up to 64GB. Both versions will also carry a fingerprint sensor at the rear of the phone.
According to GSM Arena, the variants will differ in camera specs. The dual-boot model will sport a 21-megapixel camera with an Exmor RS IMX230 sensor. Its battery will also be 4200mAh bigger. On the other hand, the octa-core version will carry a 20.7-megapixel rear camera and will have a 3800 mAh battery. NDTV Gadgets detailed the connectivity options which will include Wi-Fi, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, GPS/A-GPA, Bluetooth and Micro-USB. Interested buyers can choose between the available colors black and white.
Pre-orders for the Android variant is now available but there is no release date yet for the Windows 10 version. Sources say it will be released on Oct. 10.
