Elton John Baby Reports Are False, Says Rep
Elton John has denied reports that he welcomed a second child into his family this week.
On Thursday, several sources printed news that the "Rocket Man" singer and partner David Furnish expanded their family after a surrogate recently gave birth.
Furthermore, a report by the New York Post's Page Six claimed that the surrogate was the same woman who delivered John's first son, Zachary, on Christmas Day in 2010.

However, a representative for the iconic singer issued a statement clarifying the news.
"Reports that Elton and David have had a second child are false," the representative told E! News.
Earlier, a spokesperson for John had refused to comment on the situation.
"We never discuss our clients' personal lives," Fran Curtis said Thursday.
Meanwhile, the multi-Grammy Award-winner has recently fulfilled a contract at the Colosseum at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, despite taking ill last May.
John was hospitalized for a serious respiratory infection that had caused him to cancel his Las Vegas concerts at the time. Following an analysis, John followed doctors' orders and took a week's rest as well as antibiotics.
"It feels strange to not be able to perform these 'Million Dollar Piano' concerts at The Colosseum," John said in a statement. "I love performing this show, and I will be thrilled when we return … All I can say to the fans is sorry I can't be with you. I hope to see you soon at this wonderful theatre at Caesar's Palace."
Today John is fully recovered, and the 65-year-old is scheduled to release his 31st album, "The Diving Board," sometime in March.
Over the course of his 4-decade career, John has sold over 250 million records, making him one of the most successful artists of all time. The English singer is perhaps best known for his song "Candle in the Wind 1997" as well as the track "Tiny Dancer," among others.
