Emily Maynard's $150,000 Engagement Ring, Fiancé Jef Holm Reveals Pet Name (PHOTO)
Emily Maynard and Jef Holm's engagement undoubtedly stunned some viewers of Sunday night's season finale of "The Bachelorette," but it's the 26-year-old's $150,000 engagement ring that has critics in awe.
The rare Neil Lane piece is reportedly 3.5 carats and features a custom 2.5 carat emerald center stone, accented with 87 round-cut diamonds on a platinum band, according to InStyle.com.
"I found my everything," Holm told Maynard before dropping to one knee and asking for her hand in marriage. Maynard waited a few seconds before accepting.
The single mom chose Holm, an entrepreneur, as winner of the "Bachelorette" season eight over racecar driver Arie Luyendyk Jr., 30.
"I think we've really just become best friends," a beaming Maynard told ABC's "Good Morning America" during a public appearance with Holm on Monday morning.
Holm, 28, took to Twitter where he revealed his new pet name for Maynard while preparing for their "GMA" interview.
"Waking up at 3:00am to do Good Morning America with my Panda Kitty. @EmilyMaynard," Holm tweeted.
The reality TV show's host Chris Harrison attempted to explain exactly why Maynard decided to choose Holm after growing speculation that she would choose Luyendyk.
"What really separated Arie and Jef in the end is how Jef made her feel. How she acted in the end, if you notice, she was a little girl around him. Jef brought out something unique in her. There was something special and unique about them," Harrison said on the "Bachelorette: After the Final Rose" special.
"I don't want to take anything away from Arie, who is a wonderful man and would have been a great husband. But she and Jef are so good together. I really think she chose wisely and I think she chose the right guy," he added.
