Eminem New Album 2017 Release Date News: Work on Project Complete, Rap God to Tease New Music at MTV EMA Awards?

It won't be long before Eminem makes his official long-awaited return to the music scene with a brand-new album.

In a recent livestream, long-time Shady Records producer Mr. Porter revealed that work on the rap god's highly anticipated new music is complete.

"Am I working on Eminem's album? No... We are done. How about that?"

This means fans can expect Eminem's ninth studio album to be out and about soon, which adds weight to the reports from August suggesting the album will be released during the fourth quarter of the year.

The news also suggests that a single from the project could be released in the weeks or even days to come in order to promote the album.

That being said, it is only a matter of time before fans can ultimately get a taste of the new music from Eminem, who has not released a studio album since 2013 with "The Marshall Mathers LP 2."

Eminem remains silent about his next outing, but other music artists like 2 Chainz and Dr. Dre have spoken about their involvement in his new album and provided promising updates.

Although the "Stan" rapper has not come out with new music in the past couple of years save for collaborations and soundtrack for movies, he is still recognized in award shows.

Eminem has been nominated for a couple of MTV Europe Music Awards this year including Best Live, where he is up against Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and U2. He is also in the running for the Best Hip Hop award, in which Drake, Future, Kendrick Lamar and Post Malone are also nominated.

Whether or not this would mean Eminem will attend the show or even perform a new song from his album there remains to be seen. The awards ceremony will take place on Nov. 12.
