Emma Stone Breaks Up With Andrew Garfield?

Earlier this month, it was reported that Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield are taking a break from their relationship since both of them are busy with work. Now, a new report claims that the "The Amazing Spider-Man' co-stars" relationship is done for good.

Stone, 26, "ended things and moved back to L.A.," a source told Us Weekly. "It's finished. It's not just a break."

The insider claims that one factor in their apparent split was Garfield's intense commitment to his role as a 17th century Jesuit in director Martin Scorsese's upcoming movie "Silence" with co-stars Adam Driver and Liam Neeson.

"He's been in a dark place for months, getting into his role," a second source tells the magazine of the actor, 31, who reportedly lost nearly 40 pounds in preparation for the film and has been shooting in Taiwan since January. "He wasn't the best partner."

The couple was last photographed together on Jan. 7 in New York City.

Meanwhile, a new report from OK Magazine claims that there's another reason why Stone broke up with Garfield — a source told the publication that Garfield cheated on "The Help" actress.

Garfield allegedly told his girlfriend "that he met a girl in a bar and that it was a one-night stand, and that he would never dream of doing anything like that ever again," the insider said, according to the unconfirmed report.

The actress was "horrified" by her boyfriend's confession, the source said, and reportedly decided to end their relationship and move out of the homes they shared together.

"Emma's getting all of her stuff together and looking for a new place in L.A.," the confidante shared. "She wants to start fresh, in a house where she won't be surrounded by memories of him."

Reps for Stone and Garfield have yet to issue a statement regarding the reports.
