"Empire" season 2's production for its second half has finally commenced, and the series writers have confirmed that they are now working on the last eight episodes.
After leaving a lot of issues unresolved after the winter finale, production for the second half of "Empire" season 2 has now started. The show will not air again until Mar. 30, but at least fans will have something to look forward to in the next couple of months, according to Melty.

While the series is still almost three months away from its next air date, fans will have to wait to find out if Rhonda will survive her fall down the stairs and what Camilla has in store for Empire Entertainment as the new CEO. There are also questions on how Lucious will react to his downfall and what awaits Skymal in the near future, the report details.
In addition, fans are curious to know which popular music stars will guest on "Empire" when it returns. Plus, the Lyon family's response to Hakeem's stand against them is one of the most awaited portions of the show.
Meanwhile, Design & Trend (D&T) reports that the ratings of "Empire" season 2 has slipped unexpectedly. The ratings drop came in the wake of an explosive premiere last January.
