'Empire' Season 4 Episode 4 Spoilers: The Lyons Get Together for Bella's Birthday

The Lyons will be celebrating Bella's first birthday in the upcoming episode of "Empire." Will they manage to end the day without fighting for the baby's sake?

In the episode titled "Bleeding War," the synopsis reveals that the family will be planning to host a special prince and princesses-themed birthday party for Hakeem's (Bryshere Y. Gray) baby. Bella is turning one, and the Lyons are all happy for this milestone. Anika (Grace Byers) will likely be there since it is her daughter's birthday. However, she has been getting on everyone's nerves, especially Hakeem's, since she said she wanted Bella back home with her.

While the party is in full swing, a Lyon will get a whiplash from remembering unwanted memories. Although it was not revealed which Lyon will experience this, it will likely be Cookie (Taraji P. Henson) since it has been teased that a lot of her prison recollections would resurface in season 4. Cookie has been very busy managing the company on her own since Lucious (Terrence Howard) lost his memories.

Although she is trying to keep a strong front for the sake of her sons, Cookie is actually very close to an emotional breakdown. In an interview with Variety, Henson said that her character has a lot on her mind, from worrying about where she would get the money needed to keep Empire afloat to the kind of treatment she is getting from the people in and outside of Empire.

"People were doubting her because she's a woman, and they're used to Lucious heading the company. So Eddie plays a good second to Lucious and makes everybody feel more comfortable. You know how they do us! She had to go and get a man to make everybody feel better. But you can do anything you put your mind to, I believe. And there is a lot going on. I get the scripts, and a lot of time I'm like, 'Geez, how are we going to pull this off!?'" the actress said.

"Empire" season 4 airs Wednesdays, at 8 p.m. EDT on FOX.
