England vs Spain Preview 2015: How teams will fare ahead of Friday's International Soccer Friendly

European football hotshots England and Spain will be facing each other this Friday in a friendly game ahead of the European Championship qualifiers.

The match will be taking place at the Estadio José Rico Pérez in Alicante, Spain. According to a report by The Mirror, the original venue was supposedly at Real Madrid's home turf at the Santiago Bernabeu, but moved after defender Gerard Piqué was booed when Spain played Slovakia in early September.

The report adds that Piqué was booed because of some untoward comments he previously made about Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo. Piqué's teammates did speak in his defense afterwards.

"We all want what's best for the Spain team," said goalkeeper Iker Casillias. "If Piqué pulls on this shirt it's because he wants to play for Spain. We all represent this nation, for the greater good and to do our very best."

In a report by Sky Sports, Spain has won its last six European Champion Qualifying games, which dated back in June. They defeated Costa Rica in an International Match with a tally of 2-1, Belarus with a tally of 1-0, Slovakia with a tally of 2-0, Macedonia with a tally of 1-0, Luxembourg with at tally of 4-0, and most recently, Ukraine, with a tally of 1-0.

England's record is quite similar in their last six games, although they did play Rep Ire to a draw in their International Match in June. They did win their next five games, against Slovenia with a 3-2 tally, S Marino with a 6-0 ally, Switzerland with a 2-0 tally, Estonia with a 2-0 tally, and most recently, Lithuania, with a 3-0 tally.

As for the line-ups of both teams, a few shake-ups have been made. In another report by The Mirror, Chelsea forward Diego Costa will be back in the Spain roster for the game.

England, on the other hand, will be losing the services of winger James Milner. In a report by TheFA.com, the 29-year old Liverpool player was forced out of the game due to a hamstring injury.
