England vs. Ukraine Live Stream: Watch Online World Cup 2014 Qualifier (Kick Off 3PM)
England vs. Ukraine in the World Cup 2014 Qualifiers kicks off at 3 p.m. ET from Wembley Stadium in west London on Tuesday, with England looking to consolidate their victory last week with another three points. The match can be watched online through live stream (details below).
England and Ukraine met just three months ago at Euro 2012, and in that encounter England managed to scrape the win with a 1-0 victory in Donetsk to secure progress at the expense of the co-hosts to the quarterfinals of the European Championships.
There was controversy in that match as Ukraine appeared to equalize only for England defender John Terry to hack the ball away off the goal line. However, replays showed that the ball did appear to just cross the line, sparking the debate for goal line technology again.
In the incident England felt justified, having been on the wrong end of a goal line incident against Germany at the last World Cup. In that case Frank Lampard's long range shot smashed the German crossbar and bounced down over the line by at least a foot, only for the referee and the linesman to wave play on. Arguably the England Germany incident was much clearer than Ukraine's, however, that will do nothing to comfort the Ukrainian players and fans.
Ukraine then will be entering today's game with revenge on their minds, and will not be needing any extra motivation against Roy Hodgson's men.
England began their qualifying campaign on Friday with a spectacular 5-0 demolition of Moldova, but they can expect much tougher opposition in Ukraine today.
In their first competitive match since their Euro 2012 exit, Ukraine will be without retired talisman Andriy Shevchenko.
England vs. Ukraine can be watched online through live stream from the UK on ITV.com and in the United States with a delayed viewing time of 5 p.m. ET on FoxSoccer2Go.
