Enzo Will Choose the Heretics & Captures Caroline While Lily Wants Revenge in Episode 2 of 'Vampire Diaries'
The next episode in "The Vampire Diaries" Season 7 is titled "Never Let Me Go" and has Enzo choosing Lily and the Heretics. Enzo captures Caroline and tortures her. While in Lily's grip, Caroline learns a shocking detail from Stefan's past. A furious Lily is baying for blood and seeks revenge for Malcolm.
Based on the synopsis, after endangering a fragile deal between Stefan and Lily with his impulsiveness, Damon must now find a way to make it up to his mother before it's too late. Unfortunately, his mother wants to teach Damon a lesson he won't easily forget. At Whitmore College, Alaric consults with Bonnie about a possibly dangerous artifact he has in his possession. Meanwhile, Matt is forced to make an important choice. While being held prisoner by Lily and the Heretics, Caroline discovers more of Stefan's past, including something that shocks her.
The premiere episode of Season 7 of "Vampire Diaries" had many twists and turns. In the previous episode, Malcolm, a member of Lily's Heretics' family, is killed by Damon & Bonnie. Lily is furious and vows to avenge Malcolm's death.

Show producer Julie Plec tells the fans that no one is safe in Mystic Falls. She told TVLine, "The question is: Now that Damon has acted out, what will Lily do to punish him? Will she punish him directly? As we've seen, Enzo made a move on her behalf to punish Caroline, so I think everybody's going to have to watch their back as we head into next week."
Season 7 of "Vampire Diaries" has a three-year leap. Damon, in his grief, has chosen the long sleep till his beloved Elena wakes up. But a wounded Stefan wakes him up by force feeds of blood and asks his help.
Lily, who has been searching for the mysterious and dangerous "Red Stone," is unaware that it is now in Alaric's hands. Alaric turns to Bonnie to decode this artifact. This 'Red Stone' will soon be playing a major part and will help Damon and Stefan to deal with the Heretics by sending them back to their prison world.
It has also been hinted that three new female characters will be introduced to the show and will pose a major challenge to Damon & Stefan.
The "Vampire Diaries" airs this Thursday night, October 15, 8 PM on The CW.
