Eric Bolling Jr. Cause of Death News: Ex-FOX Host's Son Dies of Accidental Opioid Overdose
Former FOX News anchor Eric Bolling took to social media to announce the result of his son Chase's autopsy. The report states he died of an accidental overdose. He was only 19.
"Just received some tragic news from Coroner in Colorado. Eric Chase's passing has been ruled an accidental overdose that included opioids," Bolling wrote.
In a follow-up tweet, Bolling thanked those who have continued to support his family. And he urged followers to continue to fight against the country's opioids crisis—a national epidemic, he called it, that has been claiming far too many innocent lives.

Friends and classmates close to the 19-year-old, however, rejected such claims, emphasizing how energetic, enthusiastic, and strong-willed he once was.

Chase was found dead on the afternoon of Friday, Sept. 8. It was the same day his father officially severed ties with FOX News. Bolling Sr. learned of his son's death two hours after the exit deal was finalized.
