There is a new addition to the Trump family.

President Trump's son Eric, 33, and his wife, Lara Yunaska-Trump, 34, have announced the birth of their first child, Eric "Luke" Trump, on Twitter.

"@LaraLeaTrump and I are excited to announce the birth of our son, Eric "Luke" Trump at 8:50 this morning," Eric wrote on Tuesday, along with a close-up photo of their sleeping firstborn.

E! News reports that Luke joins Eric and Lara's two dogs, Ben and Charlie, in the family — alongside eight cousins. Further details about the baby, including weight, birthplace and other measurements were not revealed. The couple's newborn is President Trump's ninth grandchild.

Eric and Lara were in a relationship for six years before they decided to tie the knot at Mar-A-Lago in 2014. They found out about Lara's pregnancy on January 6, Eric's birthday. However, they kept it a secret for two months before eventually sharing the news to the public.

Speaking with PEOPLE,  former "Inside Edition" producer Lara previously shared the struggles she went through during the early stages of her pregnancy.

"Until the fatigue hit, I didn't believe it would actually happen to me," she revealed at the time. "It really affected me. But I'm feeling really good now."

She also told the publication in March that she has always wanted to have kids of her own. The animal philanthropist further said her husband would be an "amazing dad," judging from how close he is with Don Jr. and Ivanka Trump's children.

"The nieces and nephews love hanging with him," Lara continued. "He's the cool uncle. He's watched 'Frozen' many times." When asked about their son's name, Eric said he initially wanted "Charlie," but opted for "Eric" instead since the former was already the name of their beloved pet.
