Erica Campbell is praying for the impeachment of President Donald Trump.

The Mary Mary gospel music duo consisting of sisters and solo stars Erica and Tina Campbell spoke about their political views when they sat down with Essence this week. While Tina Campbell has been publicly revealing her prayers for Trump throughout the year, Erica has been offering different prayers for the 45th president.

"I'm praying for impeachment," Erica told Essence.

The legal process of impeachment involves formerly accusing the president of misconduct which the Republican House of Representatives must vote on before the Senate brings the case to trial. While Democratic congressmen have been bringing articles of impeachment to the House of Representatives as recently as Wednesday, getting a Republican House to vote in favor of an impeachment seems highly unlikely.

While Erica has been praying for Trump's impeachment, Tina explained why she is continuing to pray for his presidency even though she does not agree with him.

"This man is not our God, and God has given us instruction for this man, which is to pray for him. So me saying I stand with him means I pray for him, even now," she said. "I disagree with almost every decision the man is making but I still pray for him because he took an oath to represent this country. And we can say, 'He's not my president.' But he's still the president of America and God gave us a responsibility to pray for him."

Despite their different views on Trump, Erica said she appreciates her sister's boldness especially as she is being met with criticism for voting for Trump.

"I appreciate my sister's boldness. This is America," Erica said on her syndicated radio show "Get Up! Mornings With Erica Campbell, according to Hello Beautiful. "We should be free to say what we want, and not be vilified or bashed."

For those who have been bashing her sister and threatening to stop supporting Tina, Erica made it clear that God was in control of the situation.

"I do know this, to those who say she's canceled ... God gave [Tina] her gift, and whether you buy her record or not, God put her there," she said. "It's not your position to say what she can or can't ... will or will not ...move forward and progress, [and] be great. Because we all disagree sometimes."

The final season of Erica and Tina Campbell's reality television show, "Mary Mary," airs on We TV every Thursday at 9 p.m. ET.
