Erica Dixon Leans on Christian Faith While Lil Scrappy is Jailed

Erica Dixon, "Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta" star who is engaged to rapper Lil' Scrappy, has been leaning on God and the Bible to help her get through his recent incarceration.

Scrappy was arrested in Georgia on Monday after reportedly failing to check in with his probation officer stemming from a 2008 marijuana possession case. While TMZ reported that sources from the rapper's camp are calling the entire ordeal a misunderstanding that should not have led to his arrest, he was released from jail on Wednesday.

While Dixon admitted that the entire incident was troubling for her, she also glorified God throughout the entire experience.

"My feelings are so hurt," Dixon tweeted after Scrappy announced that he was incarcerated on his own Twitter account. "Keep me and my fam in your prayers."

Still, Dixon tweeted Bible verses on the days that her daughter's father was behind bars.

"Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God," Dixon tweeted from 1 John before sharing a verse from Acts 2 on the following day. "Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly that God has made this Jesus, whom you crucified, both Lord and Christ."

When her fiance was released from jail on Wednesday, Dixon let her Twitter followers know that she would pick him up from court while glorifying God.

"Court this morning and I know God has this.....praises anyway," Dixon said. "God is good!!! Waiting on my babe to walk out........definitely worth the wait."

One day after his release, Dixon continued to praise God and speak about her Christian faith.

"This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners," Dixon tweeted from 1 Timothy.

While Scrappy has continued to tour his music around the country, Dixon recently modeled in a photo-shoot for famed Atlanta photographer Derek Blanks.
