Erika Cooper Wanted in Diamond Theft Worth $500,000
The New York Police Department is on the lookout for a prostitute after she stole half a million dollars' worth of uncut diamonds.
Police reports indicate that Kurt Kaiser, 47, a gem trader, met the alleged thief Erika Cooper, 34, while he was having a drink. He was sulking because of the fact that he was unable to close a deal for his diamonds at the Whiskey Bar along Central Park South on April 17.
Kaiser had been drinking for a while and was mildly inebriated when he claims that she approached him and the two began to have an innocent conversation.

"I was sitting by myself having a last vodka and soda, and she came up and asked, 'Mind if I join you?' I said: 'Hell, yeah!'" Kaiser told the New York Post.
Cooper then convinced Kaiser that the two should leave the bar and go get a hotel room at the Cosmopolitan Hotel, to which Kaiser obliged.
Before the pair made it to their rooms they stopped by a CVS convenient store where Cooper allegedly purchased a $500 dollar gift card along with a box of condoms.
They made it back to the hotel room where the two had sex. It was reported the Kaiser then passed out, leaving his diamonds unattended.
That is when police say that Cooper took the briefcase holding the diamonds and left the hotel. The diamonds in the briefcase were uncut and came with certification, his passport, watch and sunglasses.
The police are after Cooper for grand larceny, but stated that they would not charge Kaiser for soliciting a prostitute. An NYPD spokesperson explained that police were not aware of the $500 gift card.
"The victim never told us that," the spokesperson said, who considered the purchase of the gift card to that of a man buying a woman dinner on a date.
Kaiser stated that he is offering a reward for his stolen diamonds.
"If she gives them back, I probably won't press charges … she can have someone drop them off at the 1st Precinct," Kaiser said.
Cooper, who also goes by the name Bianca Williams, stands 5'9" and weighs 120 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
