Eva Longoria Boyfriend Confirmed, Actress to Wed Again?
Eva Longoria and Ernesto Arguello finally went public with their relationship this week, but the pair may be just getting started.
The "Desperate Housewives" star admitted to falling for Arguello, a Miami-based entrepreneur, after having met him on the short-lived series "Ready For Love."
Despite being divorced twice, a source close to Longoria said the new relationship could lead to marriage due to the couple's shared faith.
"It's very real- they're both in love, which is rare for him," said the insider at People magazine.
"Eva is a firm believer in marriage," the source added. "Ernie may be a player when he is single, but he's never cheated on anyone and he's very religious. I think the fact that he's so family-oriented is what got her."
Reports indicated that the pair was dating during 2012's "Ready For Love," but Longoria only revealed the romance days ago and after she had already met Arguello's entire family in Nicaragua.
"I think that's why our relationship is so special- we truly started as friends," explained Longoria to People magazine. "I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see," she noted of the previous false reports.
Furthermore, a different source close to the new couple also pointed out their mutual values as the reason behind the attraction.
"Eva and Ernesto are a perfect match," said an insider at People. "They both speak Spanish, have the same religion and the same cultural background."
Native to Corpus Christi, Texas, Longoria has a penchant for philanthropy- a passion Arguello also shares.
"Their friendship and their similar philanthropic interests laid the foundation for their new romance," the source added. "They're very much in love."
Meanwhile, Longoria's ex-husband Tony Parker recently announced that he too is moving on. The NBA star is engaged to French journalist Axelle Francine.
Parker split from Longoria in 2007 amidst widespread rumors of his infidelity.
