Eva Longoria Done With Marriage? Star Open to Baby, But Not By Herself
Eva Longoria recently revealed that she has given up on marriage following her split from Ernesto Arguello.
The former "Desperate Housewives" star, 38, revealed that having children is not a priority and that a third marriage is not in her future. The actress, who split from Arguello in August, was previously married to Tyler Christopher in 2002 and Tony Parker in 2007.
"I've been married twice. Been there, done that!" Longoria told "Access Hollywood Live" when asked if she ever feels pressured to wed again.
Longoria began dating Arguello, 34, who appeared on the actress' reality TV show, "Ready for Love," in 2012, but they split in recent weeks due to distance. The twice-married actress also touched on the possibility of having children and she admitted that while she is open to becoming a mom one day, she refuses to do it alone.
"I'm not one of those women who are like, 'I must procreate!' I think kids are a product of love," she said.
"So, if you find the right person and you want to have a family with that person, then that's when the time is right," she continued. "But ... if I'm 50 and single, I'm not going to go do it myself."
Longoria's marriage revelation comes just weeks after reports claimed the actress was ready to take the next step with Arguello. Critics are now speculating whether the actress' breakup turned her off getting married for a third time.
"They've started talking about tying the knot. They both really want to have kids together and want a big family," a source told In Touch magazine weeks before the pair split.
In the days leading up to the split, Longoria was photographed enjoying a vacation in Europe with Arguello and a source claimed they had looked at wedding rings while in Paris.
Prior to Arguello Longoria was linked to NFL star Mark Sanchez and Eduardo Cruz.
