Eva Longoria In Tears After Obama's Victory
Eva Longoria shed tears of joy after Barack Obama was reelected as President of the United States late Tuesday night.
The presidential election saw Obama narrowly win votes across the country, beating Republican candidate Mitt Romney in the race to the presidency.
Amidst millions of people flooding social media sites with their reactions to the polling results, Longoria posted a jubilant message.

"Barack Obama re-elected as 44th President of the USA," exclaimed the "Desperate Housewives" star via Twitter. "Go @BarackObama!!!! Me and my friends celebrating! I'm on tears (sic)! Moving the country forward!!! Obama!!!"
She also added, "We did it!!! Obama re-elected!!! Yes!! Yes We Can!"
The 37-year-old actress was a huge supporter of Obama throughout his reelection campaign and even spoke during the Democratic National Convention in September.
Longoria confirmed that Obama's victory moved her to tears and that the feat "just showed that, you know, the middle class won," while speaking to ABC Wednesday morning.
Friends of Longoria praised her efforts to reelect the president, including Victoria Beckham who wrote, "So proud of you."
"We did it together," Longoria posted before retweeting a fan: "Thank you @EvaLongoria for your amazing work on this campaign!! You helped make it happen."
Longoria was one of dozens of celebrities to voice reactions to the presidential election Tuesday night. While some of Hollywood celebrated Obama's win, other stars expressed disappointment. Despite many differing views, Twitter was abuzz with the news of the election several hours after Obama's victory.
"DONE AND DUSTED!!!" Wrote Katy Perry, who had also supported Obama throughout his reelection campaign and performed at fundraising concerts.
"AMERICA! You have spoken," actress Olivia Wilde wrote. "Women! You have been heard! Young people! You proved them wrong! Tireless Obama volunteers! I THANK YOU!"
"Heard the good news," wrote frequent Twitter user and reality television star Kim Kardashian. "Congrats President Obama!!!!"
The President himself took to Twitter following his victory, writing, "We're all in this together. That's how we campaigned, and that's who we are. Thank you. –bo"
Obama later added a photo of himself and First Lady Michelle Obama hugging with the caption, "Four more years." The tweet saw thousands of retweets.
