Evelyn Lozada, Chad Johnson Share Birthday Exchange on Twitter

Evelyn Lozada, "Basketball Wives" star, turned 37 years old on Monday and surprised fans by presumably exchanging public messages with ex-husband Chad Johnson along with his daughter to ring in the occasion.

Johnson, 34-year-old NFL free agent who lost his job and marriage after physical abuse and infidelities took place in the marriage, took to Twitter at 9 p.m. on the evening before Lozada's Dec 10 birthday to wish his ex-wife well.

Although Johnson wrote his message in Spanish, the English translation of the message is as follows: "Happy birthday, love. I hope the day I can hold you again. God be with you, hope you have insurance."

Johnson included a symbol of eyes in the message to his ex-wife of Puerto Rican ancestry. Six minutes after his tweet, Lozada wrote a response in Spanish with the same symbol of eyes.

"Thank you for my birthday wish. I miss you so much," Lozada tweeted.

Although the messages were tweeted in Spanish, many of Lozada's followers responded after realizing that an exchange was taking place between the pair.

"Seriously they're making me cry happy tears," one person responded to Lozada's messages.

While Lozada's sister Sylvia Ferrer responded to the exchange with question marks, another fan seemed sure that the reality television star still loved her ex-husband.

"I figured they still loved one another," the fan tweeted. "I can't even be mad."

Johnson's 14-year-old daughter, Jicyra Johnson, also took to Twitter to show her love to Lozada.

"Long story short: I LOVE YOU. I MISS YOU. I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU," Jicyra wrote on the caption of an Instagram photograph of the reality television star. "YOU ARE THE BEST. NOBODY CAN TAKE YOUR PLACE IN THIS LITTLE HEART OF MINE. I'M SO HAPPY YOU'RE IN MY LIFE."

Lozada responded by tweeting, "Why she will forever have a special place in my heart @Jicyraa_Carter -- You have me crying."

When Lozada went back to her Spanish tweets writing, "a missing piece," Johnson insisted that she was the person he was speaking about.

"I'm the missing piece," Johnson responded in Spanish.
