'Evil or Live' Episode 3 Spoilers: Can Hibiki Help Shiori Get a Mobile Phone?
Just as Shin promised, Hibiki has been reunited with his middle school classmate, Shiori, but not in the way he expected on the Japanese anime series, "Evil or Live." Can Hibiki think of another way to help Shiori with what she needs?
The previous episode has brought a significant contraband in play, which has exposed one girl's true color before putting Hibiki and Shiori in an awkward situation. And it all happened due to the machinations of the mysterious purple-haired boy, Shin, who previously covered for Hibiki when the latter attempted to jump off the roof.
It has become more apparent now that Shin has very considerable pull with the staff of the Elite Reeducation Academy. However, being acquainted with him does not mean that Hibiki's stay at the shady educational facility is going to be a smooth one from here on out. If anything, it may have just become even more complicated.
As it stands now, Shin has instructed Shiori to make a man out of the innocent Hibiki in exchange for a mobile phone, which is not allowed in the facility. The phone belonged to Jun, whom Shin has exposed for being an accomplice to a fake idol who has been fooling young girls off their money.
Jun has threatened the three of them, but it remains to be seen if her words really do bear any weight.
On the other hand, the preview for the next episode, titled "Short-Sighted Justice," reiterates Shiori's desperation to get that mobile phone, which she claims is the only thing she needs to fix her problem.
Hibiki can also be heard telling Shiori that he may not amount to much, but he's willing to help her out however way he could.
But what can Hibiki possibly do for the student council president if he cannot even help himself? And what was it that the staff talked about in the meeting that hinted at something possibly going wrong should they treat a particular student the wrong way?
"Evil or Live' airs on Tuesdays late night at 1:41 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX. Additional information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes will also be simulcast in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
