'Fairy Tail' Chapter 520, 521 Recap and Spoilers: Fans Predict Acnologia's Return

If there is anything that Japan is famous about besides technology and games, that is arguably the traditional storytelling of manga series that brings some of the wildest imagination to life. "Fairy Tail" is definitely one of them, and fans are following the story and wondering where it would lead to next.

Chapter 520, titled "Dragon or Demon," tackles death of one character and at the same time, a strong, brave decision. Eileen (Irene in other sites) died in this chapter while Erza, despite being a powerful S-class mage, can barely move. Wendy arrived and told her that she can no longer sense any presence of Makarov, comforting her.

Meanwhile, Natsu was given the option to choose whether to become either a Dragon or a Demon, and he has to decide quickly as the merging of the two would kill him. He quickly replied he'd rather remain as a human, and he woke up after. After feeling the ground shake, they realize that Universe One has returned to normal due to Eileen's demise.

As for Chapter 521 which is named as "The Strongest Wizard," many fans are speculating as to who it could possibly be. Given such title, almost everyone agrees that it may finally be the main villain of the manga, Acrologia.

According to Tripped Media, there are a lot of possibilities concerning his possible return, with one being furious that Eileen trapped him in the middle of nowhere, but now that she's gone, he might finally come back. Another is with his thirst for power, he could simply be excited to see if anyone can stand up against him.

The interesting thing though is that aside from him being a formidable and powerful villain, almost nothing is known about his deeper motivations and history. This could be revealed in the upcoming chapter, but fans will have to wait and see.

Chapter 521 for "Fairy Tail" gets a Japanese release on Feb. 15, 2017.
