Faith Hill Braces Overcome Pride at Grammy Awards

Faith Hill has put aside her vanity for the sake of having straight teeth during the Grammy Awards on Sunday.

The country music superstar hit the red carpet in a black dress and chic upswept hair ahead of the awards show. Escorted by her husband Tim McGraw, Hill's stylish look pleased fans.

In a surprising addition to her glamorous appearance, the 45-year-old smiled and revealed braces.

It was not the first time Hill had debuted the dental accessory. The "I Need You" singer opened up about the braces during a radio interview in November.

"They are about four months old," the singer tole KNIX 102.5 at the time. "I'm getting used to them."

"I forgot to wear my retainer," Hill explained to USA Today as to why she needs the braces. Kids- wear your retainer."

As for the details of the rest her Grammy Awards look, Hill wore a gown by J. Mendel paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewelry and Tom Ford shoes.

Often dubbed country music's power couple, Hill and McGraw were spotted hanging out with fellow singer Keith Urban and his wife Nicole Kidman during the awards ceremony.

Meanwhile, Hill's husband of nearly 20 years just released a new album entitled "Lanes of Freedom." The pair has co-headlined sold-out tours together and topped charts with two duets, and McGraw is set to embark on another tour this spring.

"I'm in a good place right now," said McGraw speaking to People magazine about "Lanes of Freedom."

"I really feel like this new album is not a culmination of the things I've done, it's a new beginning of the things I am going to do," added the singer. "I want to enjoy my career and having my family. I have a busy life, but it is a fulfilling life."

Hill and McGraw share three daughters; Gracie Katherine, 15, Maggie Elizabeth, 14, and Audrey Caroline, 11. The couple provides a good example of balancing family life and a successful career. They have admitted to never spending more than three days apart.
